Facilities
For accommodations, visitors can choose between The Hobbit House, a private log cabin or the Guest Suite in the main residence. Both are warm and comfortable.
The Hobbit House is a unique log cabin for the ultimate in relaxation. In the morning open the double French Doors, and enjoy your coffee in paradise. The Hobbit House is queen-bedded. Soak in your private lady slipper, antique tub and gaze out at the lush green lawn and the waters of the Okanagan Valley.
The guest suite at Idyllwood West is in the main log home. This self-contained suite features a separate entrance, a double bed and a view.

Oyama is situationed in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in B.C. Canada. Nestled in the hillside and surrounded by cedar, fir and pine trees Idyllwood West commands extensive views across Woods Lake, Oyama and Kalamalka Lake. Kalamalka, the lake of many colours is one of the most beautiful lakes in British Columbia. Idyllwood encompasses approximately 10 acres of paddocks, corral and woodland. A mountain creek winds alongside the property.
Nearby Idyllwood is a golfers paradise. Golf courses accommodate both rookies and the most skilled golfers.
Just 20 minutes from Idyllwood West, Predator Ridge will provide an exceptional experience for any level of golfer, with forward tees, a friendly 5,475 yards, to challenging tournament tees at 7,156 yards. Or enjoy stunning Okanagan Valley views from the elevated tees, at Quail Ridge.
If wine is your fancy, Idyllwood is just minutes away from Grey Monk Winery. The Okanagan Valley boasts over 30 World Class Wineries. Most offer tours throughout the spring / summer seasons.
An abundance of water sports are available at surrounding lakes. Oyama Lake Resort, just 9 km away provides is a fisherman's dream. At an elevation of 4500 feet, cool water and many hatches produce fat and sassy rainbows.
Turtle Bay Pub and Marina on Woods Lake provides great food and good times. Fishing Boats, Ski Boats, Jet Ski Rentals are all available here.
