Southern Pines Riding Stables is a small riding academy/stable dedicated to providing enjoyable and safe riding instructions. Riders of all ages have experienced the thrill of riding and learned to ride safely. Southern Pines is proud of being able to introduce people to the world of horses in a very positive way, from riding lessons to overnight scenic camps or artist’s special ride and paint tours there is something for everyone. Come to one of our little country horse shows specializing in children’s classes , BBQ lunches and the petting zoo. Fun and great times for all.

Sample Tour - Winery Tour & Ride

This tour takes you along the upper ridge of Oliver overlooking the Okanagan Valley. Enjoy quiet and wildlife as you make your way to Tinhorn Creek wineries where you dismount and spend the next hour tasting local wines.

Sample Tour - City Slickers Weekends

This program is offered all year round. One weekend each month City Slickers can enjoy the total ranch experience. Come learn safe handling and correct basic riding skills. cost for one day $65.00 and for two days $125.00. This includes accommodations, meals, horsemanship, and riding .

Treat yourself to a unique outdoor adventure join a group of painters who love horses, horseman who want to paint, or novice in both areas looking for a special way to experience the beauty of B.C.

Trail Rides

Our trail rides take you into the crown ranges above the town of Oliver for endless hours of scenic mountain wilderness in a semi arid desert.Enjoy the breathtaking views of the valley below and the natural beauty of Canada’s only Desert.
